At The Cocoa Trees, we believe that indulgence should never come at the cost of people or the planet. As a leading name in offering premium chocolate brands, we are deeply committed to sustainability and fair trade practices. We partner with accredited suppliers who ensure that cocoa farmers receive fair prices, work under safe conditions, and engage in environmentally sustainable practices - so every treat is one you can feel good about.
At Ritter Sport, a German family-owned company founded in 1912, we have used only certified and traceable cocoa since 2018 and have been committed to sustainable cocoa farming for over 35 years. With our own El Cacao farm and cocoa programs in Latin America and West Africa, we promote agroforestry and work with local partners to drive social, ecological, and economic improvements – for full transparency and lasting impact.
At Valrhona, we believe in chocolate that respects both people and the planet. Since 1922, we've built long-term partnerships with over 17 000 cocoa producers across 14 countries, ensuring full bean traceability and fair pricing. Certified as a B Corp since 2020, we invest in agroforestry, reforestation, child-labor protection, and eco-packaging. All to create exceptional, responsibly made chocolate.
Hi there, we’re Tony’s Chocolonely.
At Tony’s, we’re committed to ending exploitation in cocoa. Not just the cocoa in our chocolate, but in all chocolate worldwide. The more people join us and share our story, the sooner we’ll change the industry, ending forced labour, child labour and deforestation in cocoa.

The Lindt & Sprüngli Sustainability Plan is our strategy for optimizing our impact on the societies, environments, and economies in which we are present. It reflects our core company values of Excellence, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Responsibility, and Collaboration. Our Sustainability Plan centers around Lindt & Sprüngli’s priority focus areas, grouped under four purpose pillars:
Upholding business ethics and integrity and respecting human rights are critical aspects that extend across all elements of our value chain and Sustainability Plan. The Plan constitutes one element of our business strategy.
All Fazer’s cocoa originates from sustainably managed sources that are third-party verified. We emphasise criteria that are designed to prioritize the well-being of people and the planet, for example, by requiring good agricultural practices, paying a price premium for sustainable cocoa and investing in the long-term health of the cocoa trees and the cocoa communities.
We source cocoa through our own farmer programmes, Cocoa Horizons and the Rainforest Alliance certification system.
